Dr. Schwarzkopf is the director of the Research Center for the Adult Reconstruction Division. Dr. Schwarzkopf’s research interest includes both clinical and basic science. He has published over 400 peer reviewed studies on topics ranging from hip fracture fixation to outcomes of total hip replacements. Dr. Schwarzkopf is involved in outcome research in total joint replacement and total joint biomechanics research at NYU and is a member of both the prestigious Hip Society and Knee Society.
