Dr. Parvizi hold the James Edwards Professor Chair of Orthopaedic Suregery at Thomas Jefferson University and is the Clinical Research Director for Rothman Orthopaedic Institute. Dr. Parvizi has over 800 peer-reviewed publications and is the Founder of the International Consensus Meeting on Infection- an internationally-renowned non-profit organization responsible for developing Consensus statements for treatment of both prosthetic joint infection as well as VTE prevention.
